Each month includes a new combination of assessment practices, lectures, and activities, as well as a weekly mindful movement (Genius Break) practice for the mat, stationary chair, or rolling chair. You'll also receive a wind-down-the-week mindfulness or meditation practice -- great for both relaxation and intention-setting.

You'll also have the opportunity to get your questions and curiosities answered directly by Dr. C through the course's private discussion board and in a weekly supportive group coaching call. Although Dr. C will attend by video, you can attend the call via video or audio depending on your preference.

Step 1: Assess Your Work/Life Balance and Well-Being - Take Dr. C's Free Well-Being Quiz for FREE
Get started right now for FREE by watching the welcome from the course instructor, Dr. Suzie Carmack, PhD, MFA, Med, ERYT (Dr. C) and then take her "Well-Being Pulse Check Quiz" [found in the "Course Preview Section" below]. The quiz will help you to take a "well-being pulse check" so you can better understand where your work/life balance and well-being is today and track your success over time. After you complete the quiz, Dr. C will send you an email with your results -- and explain what they mean for you!
Step 2: Prepare - Review Module 1: Preparation - Comprehensive Well-Being [Launches 12/18/17]
This "strategy" module will prepare you for defining, designing, achieving and evaluating your success in Dr. C's 6-month VIP Well-Being Coaching Program. Through the combination of video lectures and strategic visioning activities, Dr. C will guide you step-by-step in designing your well-being goals for the next 6 months comprehensively, strategically and holistically [based on your results from her Well-Being Pulse Check Quiz]. You'll learn how you can prevent burnout and compassion fatigue ("caregivers' syndrome") and commit to your self-care once-and-for-all using Dr. C's evidence-based "Koshas of Well-Being" framework. You'll discover how she designed it to integrate the Eastern (yogic) concept of the koshas (layers of self) with the Western science of well-being -- so that you can optimize your well-being in ways that honor your health needs and your own unique story.
Step 3: Launch - Begin January 1, 2018! [Register By 12/15 for the Early Bird Rate!]
You'll begin the course journey on New Year's Day 2018 with Dr. C! Over the next 6 months, she will coach, support, and guide you, and you'll be able to both give and receive support to fellow course members in the course's private online community.
Module 2 - January 2018: The Kosha of Physical Well-Being: Learn how to optimize your body's ability to manage stress -- using Dr. C's strategies for practicing self-care and self-determination. You'll learn how to strategically design a healthy lifestyle plan (with just-the-right-combination of movement, exercise, sleep, and nutrition) and how to get and stay motivated to follow it by applying the science of self-determination. You'll also learn how to "unplug" and "reboot" with a Digital Detox plan -- without losing momentum in the course.
Module 3 - February 2018: The Kosha of Financial Well-Being: Learn how to optimize your experience of prosperity by learning how to better manage the flow of your time, talent and treasure -- using Dr. C's strategies for balancing work and life balance (time); giving and receiving help (talent); and investing vs. spending wisely (treasure).
Module 4 - March 2018: The Kosha of Social Well-Being: Learn how to optimize the ways you manage your relationships with your Body, Mind and Self (intrapersonally); your family, friends and colleagues (interpersonally); and the greater world (interculturally) -- using Dr. C's strategies for applying the science of communication into the ways you own your power and use it wisely and express it compassionately.
Module 5 - April 2018: The Kosha of Mental Well-Being: Learn how to optimize the ways you engage and perform at work, life and play -- using Dr. C's strategies for applying the science of mindfulness to release self-sabotage and to improve your mind's ability to focus; your heart's experience of contentment and your body's willingness to commit (engage).
Module 6 - May 2018: The Kosha of Purpose Well-Being: Learn how to optimize the ways you make a difference in the world by ensuring that the activities of your daily life are strategically aligned with your sense of passion, meaning and purpose -- using Dr. C's strategies for getting your Self, your Calendar, your Career and your Life's Purpose to all get along.
Module 7 - June 2018: The Kosha of Emotional Well-Being: Learn how to optimize the ways you access Joy by learning the science behind both happiness and hope -- using Dr. C's strategies for accessing them no matter how difficult the "plot lines" may be of your current life situation.
June 30, 2018 - and Beyond!: Sustainable Success in Work/Life Balance and Building a Culture of Well-being: Learn how to continue thriving in all areas of your well-being -- using Dr. C's strategies for bringing the sciences of motivation and culture change into your home and workplace. You'll also learn how you can coach others to optimize their well-being, and to create a culture of well-being, using the strategies you learned in this course!

"Dr. C" is an author and interdisciplinary scholar, strategist and speaker in the field of worker well-being promotion. As the founder of Well-Being Online Academy, she is passionate about helping individuals, teams, schools and organizations to thrive in our fast-paced, 24/7 world. Since 2011, she has taught well-being, stress management, integrative health, and communication courses for George Mason University and she has developed and taught courses in higher education and workplace wellness promotion since 1993.
