8 Weekly of Genius Breaks - "Move Mindfully with a Rolling or Stationary Chair"
Begin every school or work week with a new Genius Break practice, so you can learn how to bring chair-based mindful movement with meaning (aka Genius Breaks) into your school- or work-day. Led by Genius Breaks (2017) author and course developer Dr. C, these mini-breaks of "mindfulness, movement and meaning" will help you to sit and stress less, and move more meaningfully through your work or school day. They have been practiced with thousands of people worldwide -- including the team of the Pan American / World Health Organization. Learn how you can practice them too and lead your work or school community in them too!
8 Weeks of Two Yoga Practices - One Solar and One Lunar - So You can "Move Mindfully on the Mat"
In addition to the weekly "Motivation Monday" chair-based practices, you'll also receive two NEW mat-based yoga practices dedicated to moving you to well-being in your mind, body, and life. Designed for busy people who are new to yoga and/or teachers who would like to experience the approach Dr. C takes to introducing yoga to newcomers, these mat practices are only 20-30 minutes each so you can find-the-time to fit them into your busy work or school week. Your weekly "solar" practice will help you to begin the day by recharging your vitality with a challenging heat-building and strength-based practice, while your weekly "lunar" practice will help you to reduce stress and restore your sense of peace after a busy day -- no-matter-what-is-happening.

Dr. C has designed each week of content to build your strength, stamina, and know-how every week, so that by the time you complete the 8 week course you'll not only feel better, you'll be well-equipped to walk into a yoga studio with confidence and to roll out your mat at home for your home practice with the same know-how she shares in her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training, approved by the Yoga Alliance. You will also know how to practice 8 Genius Breaks any time you want to reboot your work or school day.

"Dr. C" is an author and interdisciplinary scholar, strategist and speaker who is passionate about helping individuals, teams, schools and organizations to thrive in our fast-paced, 24/7 world. She is the author of Well-Being Ultimatum (2015) and Genius Breaks (2017), and has been a socialpreneur (entrepreneur dedicated to social change and civic action) since 2007. As an international workshop presenter and CEC provider, she has trained over 3000 one:one and organization clients in Yoga, Pilates and Fitness since 1997; Yoga and Pilates teachers and teacher-trainers since 2006; and Integrative Health and Well-Being Coaches since 2013. Since 2011, she has also taught well-being, stress management, integrative health coaching, and communication courses for George Mason University. Her applied research agenda explores the ways that mindfulness, movement, and meaning (communication) practices can address the widespread epidemic of burnout and compassion fatigue in healthcare, education, and other professional fields. Dr. C holds a PhD in health communication; an MEd in health and kinesiology; an MFA in theatre, and is a CEC provider and trainer of teachers for the Yoga Alliance (ERYT, YACEP); Pilates Method Alliance and American Council on Exercise.
